On January 7, 2022, Onision self published the book The Stinky Duck on Amazon. The book is about a smelly duck who is shamed by others. Instead of cleaning himself, the duck finds a stinky pig friend to be stinky with.

There once was a stinky duck who had trouble making friends. This is a story remind kids that there are people out there who love you for who you are.
An important lesson to all people, we should spend time with those who really care about us, and not worry about the opinions of people who are just grumpy.

To promote The Stinky Duck book, Onision uploaded a video of himself reading the book and a Stinky Duck song on his main channel. (Source) This same month, he rebranded his Archive channel to be centered around children's music and stories. These videos were uploaded to the YouTube Kids app. (Source) This move was met with a lot of worry and criticism from onlookers. Many people reacting to this book were only aware of Onision because of his grooming allegations and the Discovery+ Documentary about the accusations against himself and his husband Lucas. The book was met with negative reviews on Amazon and Goodreads warning potential buyers about Onision's allegations. (Source)

Concerned parents contacted YouTube about Onision's YouTube Kids content. YouTube responded and removed all of his content from the YouTube Kids app on February 11, 2022. (Source)

Sometime after the controversy, Onision took The Stinky Duck book out of print.
