Four days after uploading the video, on August 11, Greg reveals to his Facebook followers that a representative from Blood on the Dance Floor is threatening to take legal action against him unless he deletes his video. (Source)
Later that day, Greg uploads "BLOOD ON THE DANCE FLOOR FREAKS OUT?!?" to his speaks channel. He explained that he received a cease and desist from a representative from Blood on the Dance Floor asking Greg to bleep out the part of his video where he says Dahvie Vanity pedophile. Greg explains that he will not touch his video because it was a joke. The rest of the video Greg googles pictures of "Blood on the Dance Floor sucks". He tells his audience that he will not be bullied by people threatening to sue him for his option. ($ource)
Greg also provided a summary of his conversation with BOTDF on his tumblr:
Greg has not made any updates on the subject since.
Although most believe Greg's story, some people believe he may not have been contacted by a BOTDF representative at all due to the abrupt halt on updates on the matter. Also, Greg himself didn't seem too sure if it was a legitimate representative as he referred to them as "Alleged BOTDF Rep". Some doubters speculate Greg might have been contacted by a troll posing as a representative, while others think Greg made up the whole thing for drama.
Greg continued to make comedy videos criticizing BOTDF and singer Dahvie Vanity. An example of this is the April 19, 2015 video "Why Do People Hate Blood On The Dance Floor? ( Dahvie Vanity)" where Greg goes into detail about threatening messages BOTDF sent to people on social media and the allegations against Dahvie Vanity. ($ource) Greg even went on to make a comedy video where he and other actors acted out alleged sexual assaults web celebrities, including Dahvie Vanity, have been accused of. ($ource)
On December 6, 2015, Blood on the Dance Floor publicly invited Greg to one of their shows on Twitter: "We would like to incite you to our show tonight in Seattle. We've seen and heard what you've said about us, and we'd like to give you the chance to form an opinion on us that's not based on internet rumors. If you can come we will be placing you on our guest list." Greg soon replied, "No." (Source)
The next day, BOTDF replied to Greg: "well then you really can't talk shit about us anymore, because we gave you a chance to gather your own evidence, and you refused" Greg replies with a series of tweets telling them he's legally allowed to crap online. He also tells them he doesn't accuse them of anything, just passes along screen shots of other people accusing them. He also says he based his opinion on them from what people he met said and he posts a screen shot of Jeffree Star accusing Dahvie of child molestation.
