So the funny thing is, I personally didn’t see any included dialogue in the Backbone app about Steam streaming… instead I loaded up a separate app, and that streamed to the backbone just fine. Ultimately, with Sony’s streaming app, and Xbox… and Steam… this controller is just a controller. That’s all.

Playing games like Metal Gear Solid 5 on the Backbone for Android went pretty well for me, only the occasional error.

Ultimately in life, we all want to keep innocent people safe from any harm. So the question here comes down to: What harm is PRIDE doing to kids? First off, what is PRIDE?

What Are People Saying About Knock At The Cabin? Personally, when I saw this movie, I felt it didn’t have enough back story. The idea you would place the fate of the whole world on one family, at random, seems insane… but not just insane, also, unfair, illogical & completely, like choosing them, random. Not to mention: What is the point?

I’m not buying that the 5 star reviews are real – there is just no way in hell that any of them are legit.

The one guy claims that Knock at the Cabin is “one of the best horror-thriller films” because of the “totally top-notch cinematography”. Sure, whatever you say, fella.

And don’t forget the guy who said that M. Night movies are like “a box of chocolates, because you never know what you’re going to get”, uh-huh, thanks for that amazing analogy.

Too bad when it comes to M. Night movies (there are close to 23 of them) you should have a very good idea as to what you are getting yourself into considering he follows a pretty specific formula. Knock at the Cabin is a thriller that barely qualifies as mildly entertaining, going absolutely nowhere and boy does it take its time to get there.

Cabin takes a step back from Old, Shayamalan’s previous movie and perhaps his best effort in years.

There really isn’t much to be said about Cabin as there are no mind-bending twists or surprise plot turns, serving as a fairly straight forward movie that feels more routine than anything.

I mean, were the crazies who claimed the end of the world would happen unless the family performed a sacrifice the twist? I don’t know, maybe I am becoming cynical, but nothing about Cabin was gripping or thrilling and I can see exactly why it went immediately to a streaming platform after flopping in theaters.

But, the incident in the Garden of Eden proves gods inherent evil since he knew all past, present and future. So he knew when he tempted his children with the tree of life, they would sample from it and fail his test. Yet, he was so cruel and sadistic knowing they would fail, he did it to them anyway, and then in a violent act of more sadistic cruelty, decided to punish them for WHAT HE DID!

Absolutely shameful. If we are flawed, have multiple errors in our existence, no god has the right to punish us. If that god is incompetent in his ability to create, then PERFECT us, not punish us. If he can’t get it right, then STOP PERIOD!

Stop blaming us your flawed creations due to you nonsensical incompetence. You are to blame and not us —- The stupidity of this film reminds me of just how our normal average of 120 IQ, has dropped to a moronic level of 95 in today’s society. For people who are sad and remorseful, why repent and pray like some kind of fool? If your so called know all god is real, he already knows your sadness and remorse, so why repent and pray? Are some kind of masochist who like to wallow in your own self pity????

Ok, so Dale went off on a religious thing. But he isn’t that far off from the actual point of the movie. It’s this whole “numerous elements of what makes humans, humans, concept. The good, the bad, etc.

Reality is however: Most people are chill. Most people follow the rules, prioritize their families etc… you might ask “Why do you focus on the negativity all the time in films and books then?” Because humans love drama. It’s all about our survival. “Did you hear Ted got eaten by a lion?” spreads faster than “Did you know Ted pet a lion?” People want to know all about what is a threat to them, hence why these kinds of movies and concepts of humanity sell so well.

Maybe Shyamalan just doesn’t possess the unsparing nastiness that this potentially upsetting story requires.

He has certainly made Knock at the Cabin less dark and challenging than the source novel. And speaking of the novel, the film’s biggest mystery is why Shyamalan replaced its monumental title, The Cabin at the End of the World, with such a rickety alternative. Perhaps he thought that Tremblay’s version was too reminiscent of The Cabin in the Woods, in which case he made a sensible decision. Released in 2011, that film had a similar premise: several unlucky characters were stranded in a woodland cabin where they learnt that they had to be sacrificed to avert the apocalypse. But The Cabin in the Woods developed its premise with vastly more wit and imagination than Knock at the Cabin ever musters.

This is what I came up with…

Why did they think talking to a little girl without her parents around would somehow help the situation and not freak the parents out immediately? Why didn’t they ask to speak to everyone outside where they would feel comfortable? Why bash down the door? Why did they not send one person, a woman or smaller man, who is non threatening to explain everything first as a buffer, instead of showing up as a gang with weapons? Why did so many natural disasters that were impossible to have effects so quickly after the sacrifices keep happening? Like the planes falling from the sky? Seconds after the sacrifice, it looked like they had been falling out of the sky for at least 10 minutes or so. The flu? That would have taken days to hit the media. Why did these people kill themselves over their vision? What made them so desperate to save humanity when all they got were visions? Why not assume they were experiencing some delusion or had tumors in their brain or something that would be much more reasonable of an explanation? It was never really established why these people were so convinced other than visions, which for most people, is simply not enough to end your own life in front of two husbands and their little child. What happens if these cultists didn’t kill each other? Each person’s death released a plague right? So? Just don’t kill the cultists, then what happens? No plagues? Cool!

They’re like “I want to save people from dying, so I’m going to let these other people kill me, which will kill people who I don’t want to die… DERP.” They never showed previous examples of this happening in the past, yet they implied it happened before. Where are the visions of this happening before? Where is the context? What could have possibly motivated these people to take it so seriously when the concept itself is unknown to most everyone on Earth? It’s so random and illogical that the behaviors of the actors itself are the plot hole. Why did they suddenly believe it at the end, and have one husband kill the other when they were skeptical the whole time? “Oh, the WWE Wrestler died so that means it’s real.” No, that means you can escape now and return to civilization a normal functional person… who just saw a bunch of cult people off themselves so maybe normal + trauma. Why would a lawyer/prosecutor who is very very aware of the law just go around murdering people? Specifically his own husband? Even assisted suicide is illegal so? He knows there would be horrible consequences if they were wrong. Lawyers mostly think in terms of the law, there was no legal justification for what he was doing. The radio station scene at the end was incredibly upsetting. Why are they jamming to the radio after the person they both loved more than anyone just died? Hello? Hello? Hello??? The Verdict
Everything is about the bones or the foundation it is built on right? Everything. The bones of this movie were built on a faulty concept. So as far as entertainment goes? Well… I watched it to the end… so that’s at least 2 stars. The DP did a great job, so that’s 2.5. Love the director, that’s 2.8. The storyline was pretty bad, so that’s no fun. The overall fun I had? Maybe… a five?

"Musk argued that tech workers—whom he characterized as the “laptop class”—were unfair in demanding privileges that other people, like service workers or factory employees, could not enjoy. “You’re going to work from home, and you’re going to make everyone else who made your car come work in the factory? You’re going to make people who make your food that gets delivered—they can’t work from home?” Musk asked. “Does that seem morally right?”

First off, calling people the “laptop class” is odd for a number of reasons:

1. Desktops are typically at home exclusively, not laptops.
2. Laptops were invented in 1981, so it’s not like laptops are something that is the “new wave” or anything.
3. Calling people members of the “laptop class” isn’t really indicative of what you’re even talking about without further context… maybe call them the “Homebodies”

"The term "homebodies" refers to individuals who prefer the comfort and familiarity of their home environment over going out or engaging in social activities. Homebodies tend to enjoy spending most of their time at home and may feel a sense of contentment and relaxation in their domestic surroundings."
The supposed quote where he says “You’re going to work from home, and you’re going to make everyone else who made your car come work in the factory? You’re going to make people who make your food that gets delivered—they can’t work from home?” No, not even in the slightest.

We are not the CEO’s of Tesla, we are not in charge of where people work on cars. We’re not making anyone else do anything. They are getting paid to do their jobs where it is necessary to do their job.

I could push the same argument that Elon supposedly did… “You’re going to eat your McDonalds Happy Meal? When most other people in the world aren’t eating the same food as you? When most people aren’t at a McDonald’s right now? You dare enjoy anything that the majority are not enjoying right now?”

OR

“You’re going to get married to another woman? When most people have to marry people of the opposite gender? You’re going to make other people get married to the opposite gender, and think it’s ok to be married to the same gender when many don’t have the same choice?”

To be clear, Elon Musk is a genius in his own right, so was Albert Einstein… meanwhile Einstein married his own cousin and abandoned his own family for the sake of a job opportunity… so, genius, but not perfect, no one is.

Also, Albert Einstein did this:

And of course, this is just silly.

Final Fantasy VII is one of the greatest games of all time, so I and many other say. But what makes this game so great? Why should literally everyone be obsessed with it? Why is the game any different than any other game?

First, let’s convey the story of what Final Fantasy VII even is…

Secret FFVII Cheats?
Supposedly there are cheats which you can test out the authenticity of:

Unlimited HP and MP: During gameplay, press and hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 + Select + Start simultaneously. It may restore your party’s HP and MP.

Max Stats: When the game is paused, press Triangle, Square, X, and Circle simultaneously. This might explode your character stats.

Meanwhile you can just pick up a Nintendo Switch and buy the game paired with FF8 to have the option of enabling cheats whenever you like with the click of a button… cool huh?

Music, for games from the 90’s, does not get better than this. Every other song was an absolute home-run.

I’ve beaten this game from start to finish about 15 times. You could say I have a problem, or, you could say this game is just incredible… or both.

Any game that can keep you interested for more than 20 hours is an absolute win in my book… if I had a book.

The Most Useful HTML Tags For Web Developers

HTML is a pretty fantastic code system for web site applications. However, a lot of the coding is pretty irrelevant toward people who use website builders that don’t require all the basic concepts.

The following is a collection of some of the most useful HTML tags for people who use website builders

HTML Editing Software
Books on HTML
Headings & Paragraphs

What are headings? Basically, they are a pre-existing set of rules for text format. H1 = Biggest text. H2 = Smaller text. H3 = Etc., etc., you get it.

So with headings, it’s as simple as <h1></h1>. Just change the number if you want to do different headings sizes etc.

It just makes things easier for standard formatting really.

The <p> command just focuses on paragraph formatting as well.

Go To Next Line
So, for some reason you’re hitting return and nothing is happening in your editor? Just go into the code directly and type in <br> right after the word you want to be the last of the line.

Styles
So, you can actually apply styles to a number of things: “style” is just a text you add to things you want to make more advanced. An example: <h1 style=”color:#FF0000″></h1>

Now your heading is going to have a special color, different from all the others because it has been specifically formatted that way.

You can also do <p style=”background-color:Blue;”></p> which changes the background instead of text format.

Leaving HTML Notes
You can leave notes in HTML anywhere in the HTML files. This could be for you, other coders or just a joke that you’re playing on the general viewers.

If you want to leave a note, just make it look like this:
<!– Leave your note here –>

Seems like you just need to start with a <!– and it only works if you end it with a –> otherwise you risk hiding more than you bargain for.

Refer To Stylesheet
So you need your whole page to recognize a style sheet? Put this inside the <head></head> tags. <link rel=stylesheet” href=”styles.css”>. Now the page will automatically look up styles.css in your directory to decide what your page will look like.

Basic Links
This is pretty fun, you want to link something and for some reason WordPress, Wix or otherwise is not functioning properly? Just try finding the text you need to link, and put these tags on both sides of the text: <a href=”http://link”>Your page</a>

You can also add alt texts so you can improve your SEO and have a highlight text show up when you hover your cursor over it: “title=”Text here“,.

Good to go!

Buttons & Button Linking
So I’m not as familiar with this one, but it works just the same. Let’s link a button!

You start out with the <button>Button Name</botton> tags, but now you want a link, so you do this:

<button onclick=”document.location=’https://link'”>Button Name</button>

Favicons!
If your page does not show a favicon, just put this in between your <head></head> tags. <link rel=”icon” type=”image/x-icon” href=”/favicon.ico”>

You can use JPG, SVG, GIF & PNG formats as well.

Table Formats
Table formatting has always been a bit confusing to me. But, today we clear it up.

The open tags to table are <table></table>, naturally.

The rows are <tr></tr>, T.R. = Table Row, ok!

Then there is <td></td>, T.D. = Table Data. This is for the individual table cells.

Overall, this looks like:

<table><tr> <td>Content</td> <td>Content</td> <td>Content</td> </tr></table>
Boom! You just made a functional table.

If you want to have some cool formatting, you can do this in CSS, here you go:

table, th, td { border: 1px solid black; border-radius: 5px; } What we did there is created rounded corners on the table, kind of like Apple logos.

Lists!
Do you want to make a cool list? Simple!

<ul> <li>Item 1</li> <li>Item 2</li> <li>Item 3</li> </ul> The above puts little dots next to each item. If you want it to be a number list, you use “ol” instead of “ul”.

The U seems to stand for “unordered” and the O seems to stand for “ordered”.

Making Text & Images Responsive With image widths, you need to use <img src=”image.jpg” style=”width:100%;height:auto;”>

Now whenever a page loads, the image will expand to the full size of the page.

You can also make text responsive by using vw instead of px… like this <p style=”font size=”15vw”>Your Text</p>.

VP stands for viewport width.
