Greg created OniChan on September 26, 2013. ([https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCnH-roI9Ze4FtJ0LpjNnDVQ/about Source]) It is not really known what the channel was called or what he used it for until 2017, but in 2017 the channel emerged as OniChan. On July 31, 2017, Greg uploaded a video to almost all his channels announcing he will be "deleting" or "quitting" many of them and replacing them with OniChan.

On August 4, 2017, Greg uploaded "I'm Quitting These YouTube Channels" to Speaks. He announced OniChan is dead because he received community strike because he had two fully clothes gorillas in his videos that were pixelated up to their necks.
